How Do I Start my Own Business in Oregon?

Do I Need A Business Plan?

How Do I Create a Business Plan?

These may be one of many questions you're asking yourself if you are starting a business or at least are thinking about it. The answer isn't simple.

However, if you're serious about your own ambitions we can help!

Existing Business?

Already have a business but looking to grow or improve? Keep reading because we can help you too!

How to move forward?

To start, we guide you through the complex and sometimes confusing planning process with a simple but effective method. Here's a basic break down of what this looks like.

1

Consultation

This is all about determining if we're a good fit to work together. Two main questions will be answered:

  1. Are you serious and dedicated enough to make your idea a reality?
  2. Am I interested in taking on your project?

If either answer is 'No', there is no obligation.

If 'Yes', we can continue to the next crucial step.

2

Feasibility

After we both decide to move forward the next step will involve creating a deeper understanding of your business or idea. Then creating a Feasibility Study.

A Feasibility Study provides the ground work of everything else we'll do going forward but it's primary purpose is to honestly address the viability of the business idea.

Does the idea make sense, are all the pieces there, and does it have a higher chance of success? Feasibility fee applies.

If the results of the Feasibility Study show a lower likelihood of success you can decide to stop, with no further obligation. Or we can see what would need to change in order to realistically move forward.

3

Clarity

It's now time to begin the rest of your Business Plan. Together, we'll create a clear Action Plan for your business. Focusing on six key areas your business will need in order to thrive. These include:

  • Marketing - This is about how your customers will find and learn about you.
  • Financial Projections - Extremely useful for understanding cashflow and create lender appeal.
  • Daily Operations - How to address the crucial aspects of how your business should operate everyday.
  • Long Term Goals - Where are you going and how will you get there?
